Please press 'Book Now' below and click 14th February A Valentine’s experience to remember 💕 Spend 2 hours on the pottery wheel with your partner/ friend/ family member sharing laughs, creating something special, and maybe even recreating the iconic “Ghost” scene!. Limited to just 3 couples for a relaxed, intimate session. WHAT YOU'LL LEARN: - How to prepare and centre your clay - How to throw simple shapes like a cylinder and bowl , essential forms for beginners -Tips and techniques for working confidently at the wheel CLASS DETAILS: - Duration: 2 hours - Class Size: Max. 6 people for a more personal experience. Each student gets their own wheel. - Level: Beginner-friendly (also great for those with a bit of experience) WHATS INCLUDED: - You’ll each keep 2 pieces from the session and you can choose from 5 glaze colours at the end of class. - All materials, tools, and firings included - Pieces will be trimmed, glazed, and fired for you after class - Your work will go through two firings: - Bisque firing at 1000°C - Glaze firing at 1250°C . - Please allow 4–5 weeks for your work to be finished. You’ll receive an email when your pieces are ready for pickup from the studio. PRICING: When you sign up for a pottery lesson in my studio, you're getting much more than just a few hours at the wheel, you're investing in a full, enriching experience. Here's what goes into the price: Materials & Tools: Clay, glazes, tools, and kiln firings all add up. All your pieces will be fired to a high temperature making them durable & food/liquid safe. Small Class Sizes: I keep classes small so everyone gets hands-on, personalized instruction. This ensures a more supportive, less rushed learning environment. Studio Time: Lessons include access to a fully-equipped studio. Behind the scenes, that also means maintenance, cleanup, reclaiming clay and preparing the space for a creative and safe experience. Expertise: You're learning from incredible potters with years of experience in ceramics. We pour our time and energy into designing each lesson to be approachable, skill-building, and fun! Firing & Finishing: Each piece you create goes through two kiln firings, a process that takes time, care, and attention to detail. After class, we handle all trimming, glazing, and finishing work. Every piece is labeled with your initials and the date of the class to create a meaningful keepsake.
