Service Description
Lesson Time: 16th January: 6.30pm-8.30pm 23rd January: 6.30pm-8.30pm 30th January: 6.30pm-8.30pm Teacher: Eliza Triance Examples of student work are shown in the images above. This exciting 3 week course (2 hours per session) will guide you through techniques on how to make 4 mini bud vases. We will teach you lots of techniques on how to make the perfect bud vase in a variety of styles. There will be a maximum of 6 students in this class which means you will get lots of guidance throughout! This course is for beginners or students who wish to review techniques. Week 1: You will learn a few basic throwing techniques on the wheel and will practice these throughout this first session. No work will be kept in this session. Week 2: Practise shapes and styles on the wheel for your mini vases. This week is another practice week. No work will be kept. We will really focus on perfecting your throwing techniques and shapes ready for next week. Week 3 : Throw 4 bud vases to keep. Trimming and glazing is not included in this course. We will trim and glaze your work for you which is included in the price. You can choose up to 4 glaze colours from a selection of glazes we have in the studio. We will need at least 4 people booked onto this class for it to go ahead. THE PRICE INCLUDES: The price of this lesson includes pre-lesson preparation, tuition, the clay you use and glazes, two separate firings and the additional time it takes to finish your pots (Glazing).

REFUND POLICY I will not be able to offer a refund on Taster classes. Please make sure you are certain on the dates you book as It can be difficult to get a new student in with short notice. If for some reason you can not attend I can only accept 14 days in advance and your spot on the class can be exchanged for another class but not refunded. You could also offer your class to a friend or family member if you can no longer attend.
